Have you bought an item as a gift from TheDiamondStore.co.uk and now need to change the name and address on the Insurance Valuation Certificate? Here’s how to do this quickly and easily.

1. Sign in – on the Home page

Go to TheDiamondStore.co.uk and click on the ‘Sign In’ link at the top right of the page.

2. Log into your account

You’ll now be on the Login page. Enter the email that you registered with when you bought your most recent item. Then enter your password. Also, tick the Captcha box below (this simply authenticates your request). Forgot your password? Click the link below the login boxes where it says ‘Forgot your password?’ and follow instructions to get a new one.

3. Locate the item

You’ll now be on your Account page. Straightaway, you’ll be able to see all the items you have ordered under Order History. Locate the jewellery order you want and click the box next to it, where it says ‘View Order’.

4. Click on ‘Edit Valuation PDF’ to edit your certificate

You’ll now be on the Order Summary page. Look underneath the item(s) you have bought. Any documents pertaining to the item will appear underneath it as orange-coloured links. To edit the personal details on your Valuation Certificate, look for the link that says ‘Edit Valuation PDF’ and click on it.

5. Edit the details

You will now be on a new page with a form on it. Simply fill in the new details in the form. Once you are done, click on the button below that says ‘Print New Valuation’. Note that once you click this button, you’ll be able to both print the document and save it onto your computer.

6. Print or save the Certificate

You’ll now be on a page that allows you to both print the Valuation Certificate and save it as a PDF file onto your computer. Check that the new details are correct. Then look at the top right corner of the page. Here you can either print the document by clicking the printer icon, or save it as a PDF file onto your computer by clicking the arrow icon.
