Retailer Goldsmiths has reopened the first of its stores to receive the redesign treatment as part of its UK-wide makeover.
The jeweller announced last month that it would be redesigning all of its UK stores with help from Quadrant Design.
The project will see the sites get a new aesthetic inside and out, as well as a new logo and shop layout.
At the time, Watches of Switzerland Group executive director Craig Bolton said: “This is a significant milestone for Goldsmiths, which has a well-earned reputation for offering UK customers trusted expert service and a fabulous presentation of brands.
“Luxury today has become far more relaxed, inclusive and experiential, so while we are elevating the Goldsmiths brand position, our goal is to make everyone feel valued and at home when visiting our stores.
“Our ambition is for all to have a memorable luxury experience long after they’ve made their purchase.
“We believe the repositioning and new store concept will transform not just the Goldsmiths profile and experience, but also brings some fresh life to our high streets.”
Now the retailer has reopened the first of the renovated stores in Whitefriars, Canterbury.
While Goldsmiths seems to have given an increased focus to its watch brands, placing them at the front of stores and jewellery in its own space at the back, it is keen to emphasise that jewellery is still an important product for the business.
Its new store features new designs from Roberto Coin, as well as an in-house line of diamond jewellery.
