The T206 baseball card set has a storied past. They only circulated for three years between 1909 and 1911.
Printed by the American Lithographic Company (in New York City) using a six-color process, T206 cards were packed inside of not-so-kid-friendly packs of cigarettes distributed by the various brands of the American Tobacco Company.
T206 cards have a relatively small dimension of 3.7cm x 6.7cm. What they lack in size – they make up for in stature. Only thirteen have been judged to be in perfect condition.
