Annoushka Ducas and Alice Temperleya have collaborated on a new fine jewellery collection, Annoushka X Temperley Bridal, which is aimed towards the modern bride.
The Annoushka X Temperley Bridal collection includes pieces that are set with a single sapphire on the reverse, inspired by British Bluebells and “treasured” vintage pieces from Alice’s jewellery box.
As business partners of Positive Luxury, the Annoushka X Temperley Bridal collection has been crafted in 100% recycled 18ct gold and uses ethically sourced gemstones.
The collection is inspired by the dove, “a talismanic symbol of love” which has been wrought as a winged silhouette to adorn a range of stud earrings, chandeliers and a necklace.
The jewellery is detailed with freshwater pearls to “symbolise purity and hope”, along with white diamonds which “adds the shine” to create an “elegant, yet free spirited” feeling.
Within the collection are also cocktail rings, the first ring being faceted aquamarines and smooth freshwater pearls, held in place by two doves.
The second ring features a bezel set with one oval shaped aquamarine at its centre, framed on its side by freshwater pearls and joined by two doves, whose folded wings form the outer framework and beaks “drink” from an aquamarine pool.
With the rings comes a matching bracelet and necklace set inspired by the bell-like shape of a bluebell, both of which are designed to be worn alone or layered with other pieces.
The collection launches on 8 October 2021 and it will be sold on all of Annoushka’s UK stores, as well as online at annoushka.com and temperleylondon.com. Prices for the pieces start at £2,900.
Alice Temperley, founder and creative director of Temperley Bridal, said: “I have always been a big fan of vintage jewellery and designing these beautiful bridal pieces in collaboration with Annoushka inspired by my very own jewellery trinkets was a total joy.
“I am looking forward to seeing this collection complementing all the brides who can finally celebrate their big day.”
Annoushka Ducas, founder and creative director of Annoushka Jewellery, said: “Designing a collection collaboratively is always a journey, you push each other and see things from the other’s perspective – with Alice we have the same outlook on bridal today.
“It’s about detail and beauty but also about wearability – we want brides to be romanced by the designs, but also adore them so much, they want to wear them every day.”
