I decided to do a fun challenge at the beginning of the new year after receiving feedback from everyone. You all were wanting to see more personal styling of jewelry on my page and how I wear pieces from my own personal collection, so I decided to challenge myself! I set the goal of doing this for 20 days and wearing different rings and necklace stacks. I wanted to try different combinations I’ve never worn before and really dig into my jewelry box. I’m happy to report that I completed my 20 day challenge and here are all the looks!

Untitled

Love this blue ice look — the dumortierite crystal necklace is from Alex Sepkus which I purchased over the summer when Jeff did a tour by car instead of airplane to do trunk shows. The rock crystal necklace is actually for sale! And the cool fantasy cut blue topaz was cut by Kosnar Gem Co.

Untitled

I usually don’t say this and we all know I like wearings LOTS of jewelry, but sometimes one statement ring is perfection. This ring has had a couple transformations before becoming this, so I also want to encourage redesigning pieces you love but don’t LOVE.

Untitled

There’s a lot going on in this photo but I want to zone in on the arrow charm holder by Kimberly Doyle Jewelry. It is such a fun and versatile piece — I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a charm holder of some sort.

Untitled

Pretty positive that everyone needs a chain-link ring and a snake ring in their collection, right?!

Untitled

If you have a charm bracelet, attaching a necklace to it and turning it into a necklace is a fun way of getting more wear out of it. Both my charm bracelet and the necklace are made by Always Aleda so the links match well enough to not notice.

Untitled

Tie-dye sweatpants and some equally colorful jewels. Most of my clothes in my closet are now pretty dusty from sitting stagnant for a whole year. My sweatpants though are overflowing and have now taken over two drawers instead of the typical one.

Untitled

Heavy gold staples have been my favorites lately — changing out dainty pieces for bigger and bolder pieces. The marine link bracelet is a dream piece and my latest addition.

Untitled

Frankie decided to join for the photo — the moonstone and sapphire ring is from Lang Antiques and the amethyst is from my husband given to me after I had Gino. The diamond cluster has sold recently, but it was a piece that was in my shop.

Untitled

The fun thing about a really long chain is that you can sometimes double-wrap it around your neck and it’s like wearing a totally different necklace. That’s what I did here, along with a box chain full of sentimental charms representing my son Gino. In case you’re wondering what is on the short necklace — the Fox & Bond mini, with each engraved for another year of marriage or special milestone.

Untitled

I don’t think I ever showed my 5th wedding anniversary ring that I got last October. I think I was afraid of people scolding me for not wearing my original engagement ring. But I wanted something that I could wear all day with a wild toddler. I fell for this marquise and baguette combo — it’s complete opposite of anything I thought Id ever be obsessed with!

Untitled

Today I decided to wear some pieces that are new to my shop! They were converted from a brooch — the brooch was massive and I worked with my jeweler to turn it into a bunch of little charms. Half have already sold, but I still have the other three! Email me for details!

Untitled

I love this stack — this snake ring has gotten so much wear because it is so easy to wear, pairs with others well and is unique enough to catch someone’s attention. I like that it is all gold and no gemstones too. The star sapphire ring is from Hope Sparkles and the geometric orbit ring is from Rebecca Fogg (it came to me with garnets and I gave it a mini-makeover).

Untitled

Quality over quantity with this look. Sometimes two simple necklaces are greater than a mega stack! In this case, a vintage link necklace + a huge diamond solitaire. The old European cut beauty is available in my shop!

Untitled

Here I’m wearing Spinelli Kilcollin on my wedding finger, iconic comet ring from Skinner Auctions on my middle finger and this stunning black enamel and aquamarine ring from Laurel Stearns.

Untitled

The aquaprase I’m wearing here is one of my Tucson finds from a couple years ago! I had it set into a pendant by Always Aleda and I love wearing it because it reminds me of the Earth — this stone seriously looks like our planet from above.

Untitled

My other dog Chiefy wanted to join for this one! These rings are all antique finds and some of my favorites from my personal collection. The flower on my pinky is my first ever purchase from Ruby Lane — I upgraded the diamond in the center since buying it back in 2009. The sapphire bypass ring is from Richard Winterton Auctioneers and the diamond elongated ring is from EBTH.

Untitled

I wanted to wear my newest piece — the Hidden Heart necklace from Devon Woodhill Jewelry. If you flip the heart over, you’ll reveal a photo of me and my son! I love this charm and think it is so special. I totally want to get it engraved now after seeing an engraved version on their Instagram. The other pieces include a Pieces of Starr amethyst Galileo ball, an amethyst heart and a malachite piece from my jewelry line sold at QVC.

Untitled

Turquoise is definitely one of my most favorite gemstones and I have a lot in my collection! These two turquoise rings are antique — one was found in Miami at the antique show one year and the other was found in Nashville at the flea market.
